These bird houses are made from reclaimed maple flooring from the Holt Hardwood Company (1916 - 1967) in Oconto, WI. The salvaged wood was has the insignia Maple Flooding Manufacturing Association engraved on the inside and was most likely manufactured between 1923 and 1944.
The roof of the bird house is an old metal film canister that has been riveted and the perch is made from a sewing bobbin.
Each version of this birdhouse is unique, but approximate dimensions are as follows:

- 10" tall
